Nope twos standard 2.5 diesel peugeot engine. Got done between chester and market drayton on the a41. I rate them as a van, does what is says on the tin and if it doesn't a quick tap with a hammer (big hammer for kingpins) and it soon does again!

They do have to have them sparkly clean don't they? it looks about a ton anyway, so you will be safe with 2 ton of chips some saws and a couple of bodies

I posted this earlier in reply to a similar question

"I'm too scared to weigh it!! I know for a fact that it weighs less than the old one, even with the tool box on it. But I don't know for sure what it weighs yet. I will weigh it one day, promise.

It was 2020kgs with the tipper on and no chip box. I know the steel for the chip box was about 150kgs worth (4 sheets at 35kgs each, plus a bit) but I lost count after that with the roof and side panels but they can't be much."

I used to have an old freight rover 400 turbo, with the fueling turned up. That would do 80mph, but with a cloud of diesel smoke behind. You could buy them from the factory with a 4 litre V8 aswell.
