Oak limb drop

Some pics from a call out we got the other week, large Oak that dropped a limb over a busy main rd in morning traffic.

i'd say no....looks like theres some decay at the union.

There was some decay at the union, the tree looks like it has dropped a couple of limbs before, not sure how old the tree is but it is a big un, about 6ft across at the trunk.

Blimey!! Looks like that was a close one...Before pics would be good some funny looking branch unions there - Was it inspected recently at all??

lucky no one was driving under it wen it dropped, would of hurt....alot

I wonder if they had had the tree inspected at all in the last few years and whether there were any external signs that could have alerted someone to that happening.

Yep it was a big piece of wood alright, not too sure if they have had it inspected, its an old tree not too sure how old. Drove past the other day the fence has been fixed.
