Thanks, yeah my carton is radio and it's great to use but 3k extra is a fair chunk! Any problems with the pred?

It's been good as gold so far, I'd buy another

What width is the Jo Beau? it isnt vari track is it? and is it a vanguard 18hp unit? isnt it a little low hp? Also whats the damage to purchase one?

The Jo Beau B31-110 is 31hp petrol & is £15,600+vat, the grinder that does all is the HB20 which is why so many have sold & it's under half price of the others your speaking of.

Who's predator dealer? i'd have to look at something a couple of years old or maybe up to 5 years old i think budget wise

I don't know where you're based but I'd speak to Arbrep Services if you want a Predator. I got a great deal on mine and support has been excellent when I had two very tiny problem.

However as I've said before, I'd spend my money first on a Bandit HB20 then a Carlton 7015. (Although I have not used the Bandit equivalent, if there is one).

Old mill, i have a vermeer sc252 aswell, 35" wide so on small access jobs its useless!

Its either keep on as i am

Keep vermeer and sell small 25hp grinder and get a 13hp one but not sure they are any good?

Or chop in both

Hb for everything here, I did 9 spruce stumps on a bit of a slope last week, 10-35" in size did the lot in just 90 mins with clean up and turned the teeth. I did a 48" Oak in 25 mins the other day. It's the best Miri purpose machine out there. There was one on Arbtrader at a good price.

Fwiw I would sell them both, buy a decent Yankee grinder 35/45 hp (or more) and sub out the little stuff. Plenty of guys around with pedestrian grinders.

I don't agree, I make my money with smaller stuff in with the tree work with my HB20 it is rare I would pass on a job unless it's a big awkward stump. I can offer the full service and a lot of people prefer dealing with one person in and out. Try an HB 20 Swinny!
