I had a Metabo 5 ton horizontal electric log splitter which died a while back and I gave the bits to an engineering friend (I guess he still has the bits). What type of log splitter is the part from ? If it sounds like a similar size, then I will see if he still has the part and can send you a photo/measurements if that is the case. If it looks like it will do the job, I will post it to you and you can buy me a beer sometime :)

It's a Titan pro something? Seems to be a generic part that's used on most electric splitters from what I can see but it's made from compressed pasta judging by how long it lasted lol that'll be amazing if he still has it!

Hi Python, some good news and some not so good news...

The good news is that by the miracles of our speedy connected digital world, I can now upload a picture of the Metabo parts.

The not so good news is that it looks like quite a different design.

At least you can now rule this out and hopefully someone else might have something. For sure it was worth a try :)

Does anybody have this part going spare from an old splitter I could buy before I buy a new one?

It's the pump casting for an electric log splitter

If thats the old one, whats the problem with it?

Na that's a stolen photo from Google,

It's sheared of across the base and I've tried a few things but nothing will hold it, it's a very poor casting
