My Land rover 150 holds 6 cubic metres of chip, not a bad load. don't think its dropped in value much either and we have had it for 7 years. The small cab is the biggest draw back.

I have a 130 crew cab, holds 4 -4.5 cube and goes everywhere I need it to, pull 3.5 tonne, better than the transit I used to have. Arb trucks are personal things, get one to suit your business and not what someone says you should have in a forum.

Its a shame landrover never put the LLama into production

 

 

It is, but it's only a 110" version of the 101" and there are plenty of those about if you look in the right places

I stuck bf Goodrich mud terrain on mine, made a huge difference, it did spin well unladen but I still could get about ok, loaded it would get about off road, fields, woods etc as long as I wasn't silly, no worse than a normal pickup with road tyres I guess.

Completely understand where your coming from as I've had months of headache trying to find the best solution.

 

 

 

I wanted a 130 like Hodge but just couldn't afford a good low milage one and then the tipper conversion. Instead I've invested in a tracked chipper and kept my Isuzu Grafter.

 

 

 

I love the truck and for arb i think it's spot on but show it some wet grass and itself. I've got winter tyres on and they do help but i'm constantly getting stuck and think I will eventually have to change.

 

 

 

I think a lsd or diff lock would massively improve these little trucks as a lot of the time I 've got grip but all the power is sent to the other wheel which doesn't. If anyone can suggest somewhere to source an aftermarket diff conversion I would be all ears.

Give it a bit of left foot brake while you are on the throttle, has a similar effect to modern traction control or LSD. Not going to make a world of difference but it may help you keep momentum.
