James - havent you got an Arb130 chipper too? I just had to have my engine replaced - and im not sure its throughput is the same now they've dropped the rotor speed to 1740! They tell me as the gearing has been altered but im doubtful - had a 150 for the last month so its hard to compare to before.....

Its been nice and sunny all week, makes a change i tell you! Nothing much changes around here, except the work load keeps heading up which is great :thumbup:

Yes Mark i have, if you click through to my youtube there are a couple of videos on there of when we first got it which might be helpful for comparison? I keep meaning to do more of it running and also another one for its maintenance but its finding the time! Will try and get one done soon and try / show differing rpm's within the sensor range for comparison? :thumbup1:

Thanks James - yep thats how mine used to work - now imagine it being quieter than a lawn mower and the no stress chewing away an inch between rolls to the disk with the revs hardly dropping off - its weird. Pretty sure the rotor speed IS the performance but basically im supposed to be happy with it running 10% slower.....on a small machine it is telling in performance. ta for your input
