Been looking for an alarm for the van (wireless).

 

This looks like a good little gadget

Looks like it's through noise, so if door open or glass smashed it goes off, did you watch the YouTube video.

Yes I did watch the video, that's what confused me (it don't take much mind)

 

The bit I don't get is how it knows the difference between something being posted through the letter box- the alarm doesn't go-off........ Yet if you open a window/door the alarm does go-off......... Cat flap can be used ok.....blah.

By the looks of it every noise has a signature so every day noises are excluded from it but loud, broken glass etc it recognises and alarm goes off. You'll probably need a 9v adapter for it as there's only a backup battery. Try emailing and asking if suitable for vans.
