Sure was! down near Camelford. had a hell of a pull on it, but I was surprised it doesn't put a twisting force on the boom being up that high.

I know couple working Central Scotland but you're obviously bit far away. If struggling to find anyone you could try contacting A&B Services, Killin as they build them and may know of one local to you

 

I work with one in central Scotland,must be honest with you,these things are usually tied up on long term contracts which would probably make it very difficult to source one prepared to take this on,as mentioned,steve or Gordon at a&b might point you in the right direction

Thanks for all the replies so far and the PM's, this place is such a great resource.

 

It's clear it's not going to be an easy task and I really need an Excavator base to eliminate the need to prove anchor points etc.

It's a pretty odd application and will be a real showcase for someone if I can get the job.

I'm certain there's one lurking out there somewhere that would like a couple of weeks holiday from the woods and they will get well looked after for their efforts.

 

I'd like to see some pictures of the Doosan setup, that sounds handy?
