you can do it with one sling...easier if you are ancnchored in and have a lanyard. obviously spikes are more stable but if the tree is being retained and it is a clear stem then a foot strop is a good option.

I think he wants to know the actual technique of using the one strop to achieve this 2 foot loop choke, which can't be properly understood from that photo - for that matter so do I lol looks great but haven't got a clue - will go & play later to find out.

I've had to do this before! Use a long-ish sling, put round back of stem. Pass each end of sling through the prussic loop. Stand in both ends of the sling. Bam! Choked footloops on stem!
