Hi, about 120hrs, more niggles than problems, Conifer can build up around top bearing/roller/spring if not routinely cleared top roller stops meeting bottom roller. Would prefer easier way of checking fuel level when bought redwood said they would retro fit clear tank not happened so far! fueling up from 5gal containers can be messy now use funnel with clear pipe threaded through feeder speed cables. When bought hydraulic oil leaked from cap redwood replaced cap and tube still leaked once oil warm, now oil when cold just seen in bottom of tube not on red line can still have some leakage if machine running long time 4/5hrs mostly machine not running non stop so oil has time to cool so no leak!

This machine we have being loaned has 120 hours on it, looks ok. their is a small leak from the coolant reservoir "down to a 1 pence clip" our top roller got stuck open on Saturday, put a lump through it and it cleared. This 1 has a black fuel tank on it also, ball ache to fill...the new ones have a clear tank on as far as i am aware. also no lashing points on this which makes strapping it down awkward. the 1 i demoed had tie down points.

Mine didn't have lashing points so I fitted towing balls front and back to chassis plate with extra flat bar at back so machine secure forwards/backwards when in trailer extend tracks out so in theory more stable when cornering other thought when using need to keep checking chute direction bolts stay tight now use rubber mallet to make sure. Thanks for info about redwood using clear tanks I'll give them a ring re clear tank for mine.

Had it out onsite today, blasted through a load of pop and ash no problem, it must throw chip 20 feet easily. We were feeding it some big stuff too and it just spat it out the other end no fuss.

Glad you had fun, boy's and their new toys, when I got mine I could'nt stop grinning as it just like you said spat the stuff out. Happy chipping

Its not actually mine, this 1 is being loaned to us from Forst while mine is built. I must admit the remote control is really cool :thumbup1: especially when someone is trying to feed it and it accidentally moves out of the way

Thicko here assuming remote is just for moving machine around so machine should'nt move should it when chipping/
