I suppose fitting a boiler stove and connecting it up to a domestic central heating and hot water system will be considerably more?

 

That makes it more complex as you now have the wet side to deal with. Depending on where your current pipe runs are and the current set up, i.e combi or gravity depends on how easy it is to link in. If it's a conventional or system boiler and you want to do your hot water then your cylinder will need a second coil unless it already has one. That would require a new cylinder, although there are other ways to achieve it. If it's a combi then you won't have a cylinder and would need to install one.

Could be £1000's or could be £500. All depends on what's there now.

Considerably more indeed as the "stove installer" will generally bring in a plumber to do that side of it, ad the plumbers costs to the overall bill, and then ad on a bit more to the plumbers bill for himself just because that's the way things are done! :001_rolleyes:
