And that is probably why the OP asked for a husky alternative!

Import tax is a sting on certain parts!

$25 (about £20) item is not going to attract a lot of import tax, probably more in postage. Waiting for delivery is biggest problem from overseas sellers.

You just need the Jonsered part numbeer and then google that part number and see if it comes up under any Huskt IPLS but do check it is the EXACT part number.

Other than that, take the carb type original manufacture and type then look for one of those as previously suggested.

I had one of these Jonsereds, lots of compression and revved like mad!

I've had 60% of the value of a part added as import tax. That's happened more than once too!

got the saw from customer turns out it was only the screw lose where the choke rod attaches to the carb just thread locked it to see if it holds could not find the carb on randys ebay site import tax can be a problem but you take your chance the handling charge is a rip off one item cost £3.95 import and £15 handling fee as it was passed to fedex to deliver they invoiced me for the customs import tax and added the £15 handling fee to deliver it

hopefully should be sorted:thumbup1:

thanks to all who tried to help

Why do you need the Husqvarna equivalent. I just googled Jonsered 2055 carburettor and it comes up with Walbro HDA119A. Can't see any in UK ebay but they are on Randy's for not a lot of money.

...or HDA143A. :001_smile:

.....SawTroll is a die hard Husky fanboy. ....

.

Only when warrented, not by prinsiple!

Anyway, that is irrelevant here, as the OP asked about a Husky counterpart.
