Also do you still get the full warranty if it's a hire machine? I've seen this before on other bits of kit but not sure on chippers eg 3 year warranty reduced to 1 year.

Is the third year a full parts and labour warranty with full UK cover FOC?

 

Yes parts and labour with service engineer cover! What I like is the fact I don't have to drag it any where they come to me!

All warranties will have a maximum hours.

 

Normally the warranty is only split if a product is sold to domestic and commercial.

Ie Honda box mowers are three months for commercial/professional.

You can't knock that.

 

It'll be interesting if things change down the line in a few years when Redwood have built a reputable brand and want to be having some return on the investment put into Forst.

Yeah time will tell,so far so good,I have had a few problems but the service has been excellent.

Really interesting post and Im trying to take in everything that's said.

 

I'm about to upgrade my chipper and would love a tracked machine but they're a far chunk of money so getting it right is a must.

 

Do forst have a northern deal?
