Obviously not a quick job that would have suited 10 minutes on a ladder but an example of the impact "Joe Public" with a camera phone can have!

Just had a pro roofing company strip and replace all lead flashing around our chimney, plus replace some tiles, chop out a couple or worn bricks from the chimney and repoint it. It's a two storey house and they did the lot off ladders.

Interesting. But the works done now. No drama, access ladders long enough to safely get into roof and long enough hooked ladder, to safely complete repair. 15mins. inclusive of raising ladders, repair and lowering ladders.

Ah, if I'd only had a tele lifter at my disposal. Maybe worth a thought next time round. I like the idea of not having to carry a small bucket of tools, when there's a big one just below me.

Ah! That would have meant coming down the ladder! He probably had a labourer tossing the tools up from the upstairs window!!
