Are you still using it

Or has it been downgraded.

I had one similar and now use it for something not life support as thought I would not tempt fate

 

I saw the day out with it, but yes I will downgrade it now.

 

These are still the safest karabiners out there IMO, I would go back to these if they made them the right shape for my system

I don't want to butt heads on it, what I'm saying is when descending do you do it Hollywood style or come down in a controlled manner.

I've come off the end of my rope at 5 ft off the ground because I have different lengths for different trees and I misjudged it.

What I'm saying is I wouldn't take someone's word for it and fly down SAS style.

I'm rubbish at peeing contests anyway.

 

I don't mean to point out the bleeding obvious, but stopper knots to tend to eliminate the risk of falling off your rope...

20 years climbing what ? Back door birches ? Cherries ? I don't know . Yes I fly down sas style , glaze all my hitch chord and burn my hands at the same time , what a laugh this climbing game is ..
