Diy log decks

Interested to know if you have made your own log decks and pictures of them to show how you made it.

I have seen one based on an old 4 ton tipping farm trailer, rollers and trough on the back, load it from the front with a grab of teleporter.

 

Might be easier to use a processor that can be used with a self loader like the Tajfun.

Ive got the self loading tajfun deck, it's good but I intend on building a home made deck to feed that.

The tajfun log loader is ok but really slows productivity down unless a second man is present. I'm getting the log deck for a trial to see how good it is. But then I would need a 360 to feed that where do you stop.

I have a 3 chain log deck, cost an arm and three legs, but wouldn't be without it.

I can fit approx 6 or 7 cube on it.

Mine isn't fixed to the ground, so if it gets a knock, if ducks you right up.

I think it was nearer 6, but don't remember for certain.

It will last a life time though.
