saturday call out

easy job for a saturday afternoon, large poplar shed a good sized limb, this tree is due to be taken down in the next month or so and left as a monolith at about 15ft

300 no way, they are a good customer and i dont take the piss, i was there 1hr max, they know they got a good deal but i enjoy the fact that i dont have to quote for work just turn up and charge accordingly....200

verry true , i was messing with the £300 an hour bit , but i was not too far out is the rest of the tree being reduced at a later date , i couldnt see to wel from the pic's how far the limb had ripped back into the main stem . but nice pictures , it looks like a nice job to do in a nice location

is the rest of the tree being reduced at a later date , i couldnt see to wel from the pic's how far the limb had ripped back into the main stem . but nice pictures , it looks like a nice job to do in a nice location

 

no its being taken down in the next month or so and left at about 15ft as a monolith. your right it is a lovely spot to work and is about 2minutes drive from my house

looks like it will be a nice job to take it down , i must admit i dont hear of many pop's shedding limbs , what were the weather conditions like when it happened ??

the weather was fine, pops are funny really, they seem to get to a certain size then just fall apart, this is the 3rd limb that has failed and i reckon il be back to tidy another one or possibly 2before i take it down
