Christopher Booker I like because he argues his case well and is always backed up with sources. Geoffrey Lean is staunch advocate of Agw and green policies, he gets pelters from the telegraph readers as he does not fit in with their readership at all. If he's flagging up issues with Green Party then you do indeed have issues.

I'm sceptical of Agw as there are enough dissenting scientists to make me look for more info. I'm also old enough to remember scientists telling us it would be an ice age that was going to wipe us out, in more recent times I remember scientists telling us that UK wouldn't see snow again. I also remember when global warming changed to climate change as even the staunchest advocate struggled to explain why no temperature increase for something like 18years.

I could go on but you know, for me, the real clincher that the whole thing is a crock of sh** is that not once does population increase gets mentioned. Not once. If we're really facing Armageddon due to rising co2 emissions then why is this never mentioned?

Instead all the hype and hysteria focuses on something that can be taxed in various forms and subsidised in others. That's convenient. You can't deny that there's an awful lot of people making a good living or even an awful lot of money out of "climate change"

One more point - people dissenting from the herd mentality and challenging dogma should always be welcomed. How long ago was it that our greatest scientists were decried as heretics?

The Romans grew grapes in England (I think), the Thames froze solid in 16 something/17 something.

There are numerous physical evidences of Ice Ages and inter-glacial periods.

Giraffes in what is now the Sahara.

The North African continent being the Roman Empires "Bread basket"

WTF do we think we have the "right" to live in a prolonged period of benign weather/climate, while breeding like vermin and thereby stretching the Earths limited recources to exhaustion.

And why do some insist on bleating on about distorted AGW "facts".

Population

Population

Population.

Endez!
