Trees stolen from East Hartford woodland

Posted by The Journal on Jul 15, 09 09:41 AM in News

Around £15,000 worth of trees have been stolen from woodland in Northumberland.

Police are appealing for witnesses after around 60 trees were felled and removed from a wooded area near sewage works in East Hartford, Cramlington.

The illegal chopping happened sometime between June 28 and July 12. Two men, aged 27 and 17, have been arrested and released on bail.

"Some" people think they can just help themselves and no one will bothered...

They must have been there some time but I guess all the witnesses were to "busy" to really notice or be bothered by what was going on.

Hopefully someone will have seen something useful!
