hi I've recently mill a large mulberry it's in slabs of about 4" thick 4' long 16" wide. I've had some interest but have no idea how to price it. if anyone could help would be much appreciated thanks

i would put it in the speciality camp along with things like laburnum, whitebeam, sumac, laurel and anything else that is usually too small to be milled.

 

best guess, £50ft3 for seasoned stock.

thanks that gives me a ball park wood isn't as nice as laburnum so maybe £100 a slab and £150 for the burry ones. cheers for the help

thinking maybe this wood would be better off in the hands of someone who knows what there doin. was cut in September so don't know the condition haven't seen it since it's been in groundys yard. so if anyone wants to look at it and see if it's something they might be interested in i'd be open to offers (within reason). I think theres about 10+ slabs some large burrs and logs. thanks let me know because i'll probably ruin the stuff if it's sitting around to long

pva would be fine. give it a few coats. get it off the ground and keep it dry and sheltered from too much wind.

 

i'd happily take some but unless you are driving near J7 M4 then i can't. i don't drive.

 

get some pictures up so we can see what you got.
