I am just about to order a Petal ZigZag and see skylandequipment seem to have a version 3 ? cont find any more info on this even on Petail site odd

Ya he's only joking. Mk3 been out a few months now. My mk2 is fine and I know guys who are still using the mk1 and they are still ok.

It's not officially called a mk3, it's just a petzl zigzag but we kept getting asked when the mk3 would be available and if the zigzag we sold was the mk3 so thought it easiest to say it was the mk3.

 

If they do make a mk4 then I would hope it's just too make it work better with a 13mm rope.

 

I don't think I have had a disappointed zigzag customer yet!

 

It's just so easy, intuitive (if that's the correct word to use) and consistent to use.
