Yea these kiwiklimbers do look bomb proof, for some reason always felt carbon looked abit like they could break hahaha pretty stupid I know

Yeah don't walk on gravel or any sharpe surfaces with them though mate! They do break up at the base when walked on those things!!

I've absolutely hammered my carbon geckos over the past 6 years or so, concrete, gravel you name it and they are still going strong. Tried on a pair of stein spikes few weeks back to compare. My word I was in pain they were so uncomfortable.

I quite like the stein spikes, only tried them once but it was for 5 hours!

Just a little comparison with titanium spikes, interesting when kiwiklimbers bring out there titanium all in one spike and ascender, they will be even lighter.picture below

Be careful with carbon and very cold temps. Ive heard they get very brittle. I trust Aluminium much more and its cheaper.
