First foray into arb video

Hi all, and Happy New Year!

 

I have to admit to being an infrequent contributor but like to dip in and out to keep up with what's going on out there. I'm based in Weymouth, Dorset and have just taken my first tentative steps into video

 

Having been inspired by August and several others, I've recently joined the GoPro club, and have just posted my first arb video on YouTube. I know it's not up to the high standard you can find elsewhere, but maybe in time, who knows...

Nice job,

was apart in the vid that made me go dizzy with the camera spinning! But apart from that enjoyed it.

Bet you had a few pound on it with hand balling all the timber, how long did the job take?

Cheers Scott, was in two minds about including the spinning shot, but decided to use it as it was just a different camera angle (attached to the lowering line directly).

 

The access was awful, so it took a week to complete the work and extract all the brash and timber. The winds gusting up to 35 knots didn't help...

 

Great fun though, and our biggest dismantling job to date.

Cheers Darrin, don't do a great deal of lowering jobs, plus had all of my lowering kit stolen a little while back - had to replace everything
