how do you find the husky top handle? had any issues with it?

Its almost always where I left it:laugh1:

On a serious note, its a good workmanlike tool. It wont take a lot of abuse but the answer to that is, don't fling it about.

You work with what ya got and this saw has a lot more torque than the competition which allows you a bit more latitude on some cuts and techniques.

Haaaaaaa! Brilliant!!

Nice work to mate, I did a video the other day and I can feel your pain on how much work is put into doing a video. I suppose it's like the tree in a way! You can do it the simple way or the technical way! Some just have the knack! Some just take a little longer! Hope to get a few angles in the next video make it a little more Interesting!! :)

I think what's needed is a second angle to relieve the POV monotony

I am going to look out for a second camera so I can attach it in the tree . Then you have to look at what you are doing. Am I cutting trees or making a video of cutting trees:001_rolleyes:

I've only got the hero! And that's exactly what I want to do! I can have 4 cameras set up for the price of 1, ok I never will buy 4 but there cheap enough and still good quality picture. 2 would be sweet, pov and a high point view. The trouble with arb videos now is the bar has been set real high. It's what you want out of it that matters. I just wanna share my work I know I'll never be August Spielberg or Reg Cameron :D

Was thinking exactly the same about a 2nd camera, tempted by the gopro hero, for about 100quid it's not bad for a 2nd 1 compared to the others.

Often find the jobs that'd make the most interesting vids are the 1ns that require total concentration or have just no time for setting anything up for getting interesting footage.

Think I'm going to try a montage of clips from different jobs soon showing different equipment or job styles so don't have to think about capturing a full job for it to make sense.

The hero is very good, only downfall or negative gripe I have with it is if you break the case then it's game over as its all built in together. Very impressed so far!

I love the quick capture mode on it. Not sure it's on other models. Great battery saver though :)

Yup

I recon a second camera on a gorilla grip would give you the footage to make it all a lot more interesting than a simple POV job

But then you need another memory card, and all that gubbins and it gets to the point where you are making a film about cutting trees rather than just cutting trees

Well I ummed and ahhed about buying a camera so I guess I am in it now:laugh1::laugh1:
