pto saw bench blade

I need to get a new blade for my pto saw.

 

Im sure, when i last looked a year or so.ago they were 160.00 for a tungsten tip one... but cant remember where?

 

Anyhow if someone can point me in right direction then great

i found this when i was browsing ebay for my ripsaw blades...

 

 

you should tell them that they are not allowed to ad vat on to the selling price as (as far as i know) it's against ebay rules.

I didn't know that about vat, are you sure? That blade looks quite an aggressive cut, not sure if best for cross cutting firewood

not sure what the saw is intended for either.

 

i just realised that it's a "classified add"so i don't think the vat thing applies but i'm pretty sure that you are not allowed to add vat to the final price of either a buy it now or auction style listing. the point of those is you won it at that price and you pay that price.

 

i'm no expert on ebay so i'm sure that there are ways that vat can be added.

 

for buy it now's you must add it on to your buy it now price. so if you wish to sell it for £100 you must list it at £120.

What's wrong with an aggressive cut on firewood?

I would think that was exactly what you wanted.

It snags and jams.

The blade on my saw is 54 teeth and 20 degree positive. Is that not aggressive?

It doesn't snag or jam.

The ebay blade is 64 teeth, doesn't that make it less aggressive? (Teeth don't look more positive angle than mine)

 

Genuine question, I am no expert on the matter.
