my first rope??

buy the xtc instead of the marlow

and see if you need timber tongs and tape for your cs

as most dont need them

i am looking at getting my first rope it needs to be 40m would like a spliced eye really, what do you guys think? were could i get one and howmuch really dont want to be spending mega bucks though

I would go for the 37 meter xtc rope as well

both 13mm ropes the gecko is made by marlow

the XTC is made by yale

basically the yale is a better rope and will be a nicer rope with less problems

cheers guys only prob is i need 40m rope so will get the 45xtc rope, i thought i was ok with the rope i had now but it is only 21m:thumbdown: i bought it in a job lot nearly brand new as well paid 4 my cs's then got told i need a 40m rope

why 40??? longer ropes are a pain in the .... imo all that dragging them through the crown to re route and the extra weight, i only have one 45m rope and i never use it id rather have 2 37m's.
