Three sheets of 18mm ply and some screws/bolts etc is the cheapest and quickest way. £150 sold do it.

 

 

 

:001_huh: Your posh!!! I used to use a ratchet strap up and over the top :thumbup:

 

 

Ratchet strap!.....Ratchet strap!! Oh I used to dream of having a ratchet strap. Shoe laces is what i used.....when i was wearing shoes that is.

This is how i did it, ply, 2x2", screws, bolts, hinges and a couple of gas struts off a fiesta from down the scrapy...

 

Was meant to be temporary but still going strong 6 months on :thumbup1:

dont know about different stuff but starting with what you consider of the best bits of the other forums might be a starting point

 

Looks well put together that but at least paint it,it will look far more professional and last a lot longer.

Thanks guys, love that one of yours kentjames, trouble is i am crap at carpentry, could not even make that pencil case we all did at school - got a whack as the teacher thought i was taking the piss when the lid just fell through it haha
