I've got 2 and a half years experience, I've got a level 2 arb certificate, I can drive, I've got my cscs card, but no nptcs, I have climbed loads before and used all sizes of chainsaws, how much should I charge for a day?

Any help will be appreciated thanks

If that's the case I'm not on enough... I've got all the above apart from a Level 3 Diploma in Arboriculture, NPTC tickets, all PPE, 4x4, but no cscs card and 2.5 years experience. I'm only on £70-80 a day... Depends who I work for.

I've known climbers here in Essex only charging £100 a day, with own saws etc. Crazy, but about right for a 'good' and useful groundy with saw tickets etc.

52 weeks a year, 5 days a week = 260 days. Take away 21 for holidays and say 10 for bad weather/breakdowns etc = 229

229 days x £100 = £22,900 per year

Take away fuel, saw and vehicle maintenance, further tickets and training, tax/no etc, you know what you need to do...
