There was three of them doing Ariel inspection. The tower part of the building was never fully developed. Things went "bump" in the last financial crisis. Another developer is interested in buying the whole complex, but they won't sign the deal until all the flats meet current Regs (there are two blocks already occupied), with no fire main booster pumps!!!..... They were inspecting the bits that fell off!

I'll post a pic from my phone....... After I've thrown this bloody Ipad out of the window.

Are those the parts that came off during the high winds last year?

Yes, Matt. Working on construction sites always amazes me!...... The lads did the inspection and spoke to their office to report the defects, they were asked to go back over and make-good, or cut and chuck what they could (safely!)

They had a joiners saw and a can of expanding foam, between them, I kid you not.

That expanding foam will hold practically anything in and a hardpoint saw is standard cutting equipment on sites they get them for a couple of quid buying in bulk. They are used for everything from Thermalite blocks to piping when the Stihl saw is not handy.
