I saw in the videos he uses a tyre on the block. Don't like that idea at all, isn't it asking for the axe to bounce right back at you if you have a miss hit?

 

No doesn't bounce back, if you haven't tried it you need to, I wouldn't want to do to much splitting without one

Its an old Inca trick ! . :biggrin: No seriously it save a lot of back ache and time . cracking idea . If you cant keep the head inside the tire then you shouldn't swing an axe :001_tongue:
