Wisewood was asking if the sprockets for the 201 and 200 were the same - you put up the 201 part and I put up the 200 showing they were different!

Are you following now:lol:

As I said, it's only the model number that is different, they may interchange, I know the 200t and 009 match

I've just been told the 201 sprockets are about 1mm smaller in depth so a 200 sprocket would rub on the side cover of a 201

That's put and end to that then, but I assume you could put a 201 sprocket on a 200 without issue.

Interesting, considering the clutch itself is off a completely different saw (1137 - the ms192)

The worm gears are the same!

It may stil fit, the Oregon MS200 drum is a little deeper than the standard part and still works fine!

I woudn't buy one but worth playing around if the parts are available to you.

Thanks for your inputs on this, both interesting and helpful :-)

Saw will now be prefitted with 1\4 sprocket so no worries on that score.

I will however have a close look at the differences between the two.

Incidentally, I also have a 1\4 sprocket for an 09 so will see if that will fit also :-)
