whats the crack with this,iv read somewhere you give it full bore for 3-5 minutes into a lump of wood,is this correct, anyone shed some light on it?,ta muchly :001_smile:

Yep . Thats about it . Should only need doing the once really unless circumstances change dramatically ...Altitude , fuel type etc

Yep! Bar length thick log, 3-5mins. and don't let off the throttle. Clean the air filter before cutting, so the saw gets the best of what's available.

I had a split fuel pipe and it started playing up,pipes changed now but still playing up a little, hope this cures her

You can always have a dealer reset the AT to factory settings, if needed - or buy the equipment to do it yourself.

Not quite that simple, yes you can buy the auto tune tool, however you need acsess to the support site to update it, there is also some computer software you need to down load, not too sure you will be given the support site details.

That's the way but I never came close to the three minutes. Never seen a lump of wood that big or never had my saw that dull during work. :D

I just found four oak logs that needed ringing for firewood. Got them lined up 2x2 either side of me. Occasionally after de-limbing, it then bogs in a thicker cut. But just carry on and find some thicker stuff and it all the vigour returns, (I'm talking about the saw.)
