Cheers Gordon. Mine runs perfectly with kern, it's amazing! I just fancied getting a shorter, slightly fatter rope too :) Will have a read on fb also 👍

I order stainless steel cotters from McMaster-Carr (3/32"x1/2")

They have two alloys of stainless steel, which are of essentially equal strength.

the 316 alloy are superior in corrosion resistance.

2.5mm would be better. The 20mm legs will likely be too long, but you could nipper them shorter easily enough. Just check the cotters before each climb.

I've fitted a nano swivel to my BDB now and it's great, it fits as if they were made for each other and it's nice always having things orientated just how I want them 👍
