Some Oak milling

Well Gary`s Alaskan has really been earning its keep, over 50 2" thick slabs of Oak and he has started to plank some Sequoia .

 

 

 

 

And we have rashered up all the rest on the Mizer, which has been severely raided by the lads on the lanscape side. What you see here is about a quarter of what we have cut , the rest has been used.

I have finished CSM boards using an electric hand held planer https://www.festool.com/Products/Pages/Product-Detail.aspx?pid=574550&name=Planer-HL-850-EB-Plus

 

It is, in my opinion, more efficient at removing material than sand paper (belt sander). But each to his own, I guess...
