Looking at making our services available to local schools in the new year, have you worked on school premises before? am i right in thinking that the academy's are in charge of their own budget? also i assume they require a crb check before you set foot on site, does this need to be done on every site as it cannot be valid for a period of time :confused1:

My Mrs. is a teacher, I believe she's said in the past that you only need a CRB done if you're left alone with children so unlikely to need one for arb works. Certain schools might have different policies though.

I've worked at dozens of schools and never needed a CRB check

We work on a number of schools they like it if you do the work on weekends, holidays last job of the day when all the children have gone

The bigger schools I have quoted for and work for all want to see ra+ms, crb checks, spraying certificates correct insurance if we get the job(grounds maintenance). I would think tree work would be the same.

As i suspected, not opposed to working a weekend if it makes it easier .
