I'd be interested in this if its not sold. Is it still standing? What length could you get out? I'd want to cut stem in half if possible and mill at home.

its a beauty, even those large branches would be used by turners...

It really is a ashame to bring it down but at least it's coming down whilst it has a useful purpose

Tree is down as you can see the main stem is a bit rotten the large branches are however sound

If it has small juicy fruit, could be a hazel pear.

Think it was justPyrus communisthe fruit were fairly similar to the pears you would get in the supermarket if not a little grainy
