ive narrowed it down to three.

1 cougar blue, sounds good but a bit worried about varying quality?

2 yale kernmaster 11mm, too bouncy? too narrow? plus need a splice and only treestuff seem to sell it with the splice.

3 yale blue tounge, easy to get locally but not so hi vis colours.

i climb mainly double rope on a lockjack and a bit of single rope with the rope wrench, our trees are generally under 70ft.

help me deside thanks carl

I don't think you'd like Blue Tongue for SRT.

Yale Poison HiVee works well on DdRT and SRT.

Cougar Blue seems to be the preferred rope for SRT.

I use Blue Tongue for both SRT and DdRT. I've got 4 different lengths of it. I love it.

Used blue tongue and Cougar blue and for most trees I ascend srt with a basetie and work off double rope with a spiderjack.

Cougar blue is really good once it gets fluffy the hank I had was super static.

Blue tongue feels a little bit thicker in hand which I like, not as static but cheaper to buy.

Ive used Cougar as well which is the yellow and red version of cougar blue and the two cougar ropes I used were awfully bouncy and milked terribly. But again other people will say different... Donaghys ( or however you spell it  ) is terribly inconsistent

I used to climb on blue tongue using a spider jack which i did like however I find it quite bouncy now compared to the cougar blue I currently use which is great pretty static mind but great for srt I the only thing I'm not keen on is the fact that it flattens out a fair bit when used with certain devices
