Yes indeed!! As the title suggests, i recieved word that my new toy has arrived at the workshop.

Is brand spanking new, from the first production batch, so i'm expecting good things. Tomorrow is the moment of truth.

Will post pics and let you all know how it performs. Im actually looking forward to going to work tomorrow....

Please be honest as you can with the review, I was thinking of chopping my husky 540 in for a 201 next week but if these have just come out I might wait.

I went off lots of positive reviews for the husky 540 and it's been the biggest let down

I will do my best young sir! We have had them here in germany for about 2 weeks i think, so might be a couple if months til you get it. The 193 is also meant to be a good wee saw, aint used it yet though.

I thought the 540 was meant to be quick saw?

It's not to bad when it works it's the reliability that's the issue its got a professional engine in a homeowners case

I don't mean to derail but I am :laugh1: I've been thinking about this after the 540 affair I think stihl/husqvarna need to give these saws that they want testing to the biggest, hairiest and rough arsed tree surgeons and get proper feed back. Non of these Nancy pansy pruner types but people that dismantle trees all the time so the saw is abused then we might get a better idea of reliability and performance. I'm not saying the OP won't do this I just get the feeling that 'yes' men test these saws and are afraid to upset stihl/husquvarna

Good idea . The T540 engine is fine , even good , but using sea water make the chassis from was a bit silly
