Road tow chipper onto ifor tipper

Evening all, has any one on here fitted a winch onto a tipping trailer that would be capable of pulling a timberwolf 150 chipper up a set of ramps to avoid two separate trips to site? It seems daft taking a chipper onto site then making another trip to get the trailer to chip into!

Sorry fella I may be missing the point here ? Why not fit the winch to the chipper so she can pull herself up the ramps and when at work she can pull over trees Unless you want to winch other gear up onto the trailer ?

Not many of my jobs have access to enable a chipper into areas to use a winch in this way. Just easier using the lug all .

I assume you tip the chip off on site somewhere, otherwise how do you plan on getting the chip and chipper back on the same trailer?

 

or is it just to eliminate another journey at the start of the day?

How about fixing a ball hitch on the head board end of the trailer. Once the chipper is up into the trailer, attach the tow hitch to the ball hitch and put a couple ratchet straps across the axle ?
