Help pricing

Hi.

Was wondering if someone could help with a job i need pricing.

The job is a dismantle on a Ash tree with a big decay cavity in the stump and root system but is safe to climb.

Its quite a big tree at around 45-50ft with 3 main stems forking from the main trunk.

Will have to rig and lower quite a bit of timber as there are two fences and a gate that's typically just recently been put up.

On the plus side no need for chipper as the smaller tips are stack and mash, but the rest is to be logged up for firewood in 10" logs plus carried from the drop zone about 30ft.

Will probably need a groundsman with CS30/31.

Many thanks

Hi chris

I have photos on my iphone but dont know how to post them??

It can be done in a day i think with a good groundsman on the lowering block etc.

It would be a full 8am - 4:30pm day at this time of year.

Easy, only you know what you want from a days work doing that sort of job. You'll just get answers from £200-£800 if you ask on here!

It is safe to rig/lower and will be cutting in sensible size sections. allso i forgot to mention the job has a round journey of 75miles.

The cavity is the reason for taking the tree out.

But really looking for what would be a average price charged for a dismantle on a tree this size, its allso the logging thats going to take up time.

Sounds like, dodgy without a photo, two days work (given shorter days currently) two men to get it down, perhaps another half day if the timber is all to be logged up. Ball park is 800 - 900.

I try and avoid going over over a grand for small two day jobs where possible as i think, from experience i know, that it puts people off just looking at the figure!

75 mile round trip will need a 5 to 5.30am get up to get on site for 8, especially for me who likes my brekky
