hi i have been climbing a long time and now looking to start milling some timber rather then just log it…can i have some advice please good portable mill ext and beat way to season thanks..matt

get yourself a alaskan mill from rob d on here, I suggest a 48" mill will cover most and bigger stuff you come across, seasoning is rule of thumb 1" per yr, but depends what your end product is, some stuff can be made from green timber straight off! benches etc,,

thanks lads i think alaskan mill to start with..want to make stuff for my own garden then when and if I'm any good start to sell stuff..what wool is ok to mill and make things green? thanks..
