Chainsaw arm protectors

When cutting and holding (not that I would ever be an advocate for such appalling and illegal activity) start the cut with your free hand well away, only once the saw has bitten into the timber and cannot skid do you hold with your free hand.

That is my usual modus operandi, and I appreciate the mistake I made, none the less I still want to have the protection there in case I choose to wear it, so welcome any pros & cons with them.:001_smile:

There a good idea Bilbo found them restricting at times. I savaged a very good Timex piece many moons ago with 020 , lightens the load in your belly for sure

I'm looking for some arm protection too, I use a hand saw a lot and those teeth are sharp. Ideally a T-shirt with slash cut protection on the arms would be perfect. Or a light weight flexible chainsaw type jacket/smock but they all look heavy and hot. There's a company called ppss group international that do slash/cut proof clothing for the military/police but there's no prices on their website.
