Once your 395 is out of warranty get spud to open it up port it advance timing ect and it will be the only saw you need.

I ran mine side by side ringing up big hardwood butts against a 880 on a 36" the other week and the 395 performed noticeably better.

HI BURREL so what going on then that day with say 880 on 3ft and 395xp on a 3ft bar a 880 should out TQ or power a smaller stander 395xp or a ported one was it down to the chain on that day thanks jon

Mmmm This or This.... I prefer the the 395 as it feels sooo much lighter . The 3120 has more grunt of course but not in proportion to the weight .

So u have a fast 3/8 chain v

A 404 slower reving old dinosaur saw

My 298 will make my 076 look slow 3ft bars both new chain when tested
