Once your 395 is out of warranty get spud to open it up port it advance timing ect and it will be the only saw you need.

I ran mine side by side ringing up big hardwood butts against a 880 on a 36" the other week and the 395 performed noticeably better.

HI MATTY why this then a stander 880 has tons more TQ then a stander 395 what was going on with that 880 on that day CHAIN HAD IT or hit stone metal thanks matt jon

Mmmm This or This.... I prefer the the 395 as it feels sooo much lighter . The 3120 has more grunt of course but not in proportion to the weight . :001_smile:

Porting a saw Jon will keep the chain speed at its top end more

So u have a fast 3/8 chain v

A 404 slower reving old dinosaur saw

My 298 will make my 076 look slow 3ft bars both new chain when tested

Mattys rite

HI BURRELL so get my 880 on a 3/8 then it will out pull a 395xp ported or just buy STUBBY 3120xp mate and put a 3/8 bar on that :thumbup:thanks jon
