TW125 problem

My trusty TW125 is just not running right.

It had a dealer service last week and has sharp blades.

However, it's been a nightmare to use for the last 2 days, admittedly on stinking multi-topped conny.

The stress is kicking in constantly, even on 2" pieces.

On bigger pieces, but still only maybe 4" diameter bits of cord, the stress kicks in for about 20 seconds before further movement sometimes.

Any ideas?

I guess there are two options.

1The stress control is faulty

so try replacing all the relays, should be available at any motor factors.

Check the signal unit which checks the wheel speed hasn't got dirt around it.

Feck around with the buttons a bit.

2. The thing isn't chipping properly.

Check belts, manually look again at the blades/anvil.

I'd guess the stress control unit is on its way home.

Easy Fix but pricey.

I'll have a look tomorrow, but it had a full dealer service last week, so I think it's unlikely.

we had the same problem with ours after it was serviced and it was down to the fuel filter not being a genuine Honda filter it was a whatever one

(good technical term there) but it was one with the graduated pipes on it that need to be cut to the right size for the fuel pipe

so starving it of fuel which lowered the revs causing the stress thingy to kick in
