Cheers folks! It was a lovely suprise and it made the trip down south well worth it! The £450 prize money went straight on climbing gear! Got a new harness, new lanyard, rope bag and a few other bits and pieces! :-)

 

Just need to practice more now and hit the gym a bit more and try to do a bit better in the ISA climbing comps, done 2 so far, footlock lets me down but i eventually completed 50ft for the first time EVER in the ISA comp in Guildford on saturday! I did it in 48 seconds and didn't miss a lock. Massive thanks to Jo Hedger for helping me to learn the footlock technique and being very helpful on saturday by lending me her full body harness (The ISA harnesses were much too small for me) and footlock line! Very much appreciated! Thanks for everything and good luck for Providence! ;-)
