hello yes it is a different part number for the spur sprocket the dolmar equivilant chainsaw is the PS-222TH and they do take the same bars but they only list the 25cm for the ps-222 in the carving bar where as for the ps-3410 they offer the 30cm and the 35cmm in the carving bar

ok well i was thinking of sticking a little 8 or 10" R7 sugi carving bar on the 230t.....can you get a sprocket in 1/4 or are they only 3/8LP for 222/230?.

does anybody know anything about this chainsaw ?? it was a prototype 4-stroke chainsaw developed several years ago but never put into production please correect me if iam wrong

 

is it the future ? :thumbup::thumbup:

I remember that as a Mak; FJ did an article. I still think saws and horti 2 strokes should go diesel; glow-plug type like R/C models; ethanol problems in gasoline solved; fuel much safer

 

Glo plug model engines are methanol (petrol) rc diesel are either based and are compression ignition but.

yes fair point jon but weight would get alot of critisism from some corners dont you think

 

could the 4-stroke saw be making an appearance in the future as the MM-4 engines are proving pretty good in the brushcutters and polesaws and concrete cutters
