Can't verify the claim but I'm sure the blade works a different way so don't need to do a full cycle - only cut what what needs cut.

Yes , that modification was the key to a faster cycle time. JAS have sold a lot, so there must be a few on the Forum who may comment.

I have only had 360, what i like is when you have a log that is under 35 cm in breadth but good a 40cm height it still goes through. It will handle twisted bent wood but you really have to cut slowly, I have already caught blade a few times on bent lengths of wood which kills the belt.

Agreed, when you get a blade jam getting to the tractor stop or clutch quickly is impossible - there needs to be a stop bar just like a chipper.

The last log is always the risky one also - as you will know.

Cannot comment on the speed of the two processors but on the point above we run a cord from the pto kill plug on the back of the tractor to the operator station allowing the operator to switch the PTO off from the operating station

Good innovation if you have that feature on the Tractor, but many run an 'older tractor' with basic controls, so not so easy.

Most older tractors ( Ford + MF at least) tend to have a pull out engine stop, tie a rope to it. Not immediate blade stop but pretty fast.
