Just thought I'd share this horror story with u guys. A good 80-100 yrs old Sweet Chestnut. The neighbors decided that when the old lady died and her house was unoccupied they would create more light in their garden! It's been done with decent cuts too which would suggest a "tree surgeon" has done it!!! ImageUploadedByArbtalk1414087382.814981.jpg.7228d45e05554f408af19c9d3b82456b.jpg

We took a chestnut down today...it had been absolutely hammered in the past! Not live centre to it just dead up rights which made anchor point selection tricky..picture doesn't do it justice but this thing was shot! From the base up, and purely because of how badly/hard it had been pruned in the past..

Dont need to be a rocket scientist to work out what your company ethos is then.:001_rolleyes:

I get on with my own work the best I can, I don't waste my time slagging off other people's and posting pictures where I don't know the specs, so me and my mates can throw their hand up in faux horror to make themselves feel better.
