I certainly would , in my experience agriculture is a law unto its own, bald tyres/overloading, if most tractor/implement set ups were looked on the same as lorries they,d be taken of the roads years ago.

theres a lot of contractors (and many arbs) who really push their luck when running agri machines on the road especially fastracs and mogs taking advantage of cheap running costs, running overweight and too fast and covering large distances in a day no wonder vosa are trying to crack down

i welcome vosa checks. once you have had one or two vosa will recognize your fleet and leave you alone. you should be off the road if you have something to hide

There's no weight restriction just width which is 2.45 metres that's a big tractor.

 

 

Think you'll find there is weight restriction, was talking to contract farmer the other week and he said they vary from county to county ( or local authority ) he works Norfolk/Suffolk and farms a lot of land
