Bio oil is capable of growing bacteria, so a cut from a chainsaw with bio oil will be treated differently to a cut from a chainsaw using mineral.

I dont plan on cutting myself with either, so its not a big issue for me.

I am constantly covered in cuts and scratches from brash and twigs, not saws :001_smile:

I think that using bio chain oil and aspen in the saws is a cost

effective way of demonstrating "awareness".

To go bio on the digger would be very expensive.

I know that gas oil is a horrible dirty fuel but using white or bio

would hurt, and yet I can honestly say that all "new" plant is run

to green standards.:blushing:

Dunno at twice the cost of normal petrol it is alot, and I havent yet put a wrong mix in :001_smile:

When you rely on 'the lads' to sort out the fuel, it can and does get mixed wrong, we have had lads putting red diesel in? by the time you take into account your time for going to the petrol station, unless you live in one, it can get costly.

Used bio oils untill recently, i will near ssi's and water courses but the main reason i used all bio oils for about 7 years was health implications now being quoted 80 for 25 litres ive switched back to mineral ,but i still use aspen in my hedge cutters and km 130
